For years, the battle has raged between creative that’s great and creative that actually moves the needle, with smart people on both sides. “It’s not creative unless it sells,” is a mantra that’s echoed up and down Madison Avenue for nearly 50 years.

So we’re happy that our campaign for the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System at Southern Regional Medical Center has done both. From print ads to websliders and digital ads to posters and elevator signage, the campaign grabbed attention on multiple points. You can view some of the samples below. Of course, I’m proud of the way it looks and what it says. But I’m also happy to report that robotics surgeries in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year were up 53 percent over the fourth quarter of the previous year. Zooming in closer, quarter-to-quarter growth is equally impressive, with a 12 percent jump between the first and second quarter of the 2015 fiscal year.

And those kinds of numbers make everyone happy
